The Heritage Christian Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Trinity School of Texas Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Heritage Christian suffered their biggest defeat since November 20, 2023 on Friday. Their rough 62-36 loss to First Baptist might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Heritage Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1063rd, while First Baptist is ranked 414th).
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Maggy Mcswain, who scored seven points along with seven steals. Mcswain is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Deanna Montgomery was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Trinity School of Texas, who are still winless after their fourth game. They lost to Providence Academy at home by a decisive 33-14 margin back in December of 2023.
Heritage Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Trinity School of Texas, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4.
