If Holland Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hudsonville, they should've done a better job of containing Sofie Sanders. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Maroons on Saturday with plenty of help from Sanders, who had 20 assists and six digs. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last six times she's played.

Hudsonville never let Holland Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22.

Hudsonville's victory bumped their record up to 18-6-1. As for Holland Christian, their defeat ended a nine-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-5.

Hudsonville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Jenison on the 4th. As for Holland Christian, they will square off against Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
