Shasta is 7-1 against Anderson since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Shasta will be taking part in a tournament against Anderson at 3:00 p.m. Shasta is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
Shasta barely beat Central Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Shasta blew past Central Valley 19-9 on Tuesday. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Alivia Ridenour was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Anderson's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Shasta has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Anderson, though, as they've been averaging 17 hits. Given Shasta's sizable advantage in that area, Anderson will need to find a way to close that gap.
Shasta took their victory against Anderson in their previous meeting last Thursday by a conclusive 24-0. Does Shasta have another victory up their sleeve, or will Anderson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
