The Lovejoy Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 73-65 to Alcovy. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Janae Hutcherson, who scored 36 points along with seven steals for Alcovy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hutcherson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Way, who scored 13 points.
Lovejoy dropped their record down to 4-12 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Alcovy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
