The Paschal Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 80-25 defeat at the hands of Boswell. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Paschal in their matchups with Boswell: they've now lost nine in a row.
Camille Williams was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 30 points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals for Boswell. The match was Williams' seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Salena Carrasco, who scored 20 points along with five steals.
Paschal's loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 5-11. As for Boswell, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 24-2.
Paschal will head out on the road to face off against Trinity at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Paschal in Texas (Trinity is ranked 329th, while Paschal is ranked 1063rd). As for Boswell, they will be playing at home against North Crowley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
