Lakehill Prep won the last time they faced North Dallas Adventist Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lakehill Prep Warriors really took it to the North Dallas Adventist Academy Sentinel for the full four quarters, racking up a 79-47 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.
Leading Lakehill Prep to victory were Preston Corder and Drew Perry. Corder went 10 for 13 en route to 22 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Perry went 6 of 10 on his way to 20 points in addition to seven assists and six steals. That's the most assists Perry has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelvin (KJ) Walker, who posted six points along with five assists and five steals.
They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Lakehill Prep was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Dallas Adventist Academy only racked up two assists.
Despite the loss, North Dallas Adventist Academy still got an impressive performance from Boomer Frain, who went 10 of 20 on his way to 31 points and eight boards. Frain's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Benjamin Harder also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
Lakehill Prep is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43.8 points. As for North Dallas Adventist Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
Lakehill Prep will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Chisholm Trail Academy at 7:30 p.m. Chisholm Trail Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Lakehill Prep likes a good challenge. As for North Dallas Adventist Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against South Texas Christian Academy at 12:50 p.m. on Thursday.
