On Tuesday, Rio Vista earned a 43-30 victory over Lindhurst.
Rio Vista got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah Holley out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for Holley. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Flaz, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
The win got Rio Vista back to even at 4-4. As for Lindhurst, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Rio Vista will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Big Valley Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 14th. Big Valley Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Rio Vista in California (Big Valley Christian is ranked 305th, while Rio Vista is ranked 1093rd). Lindhurst will be home for the holidays to greet Westlake Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
