After ten games on the road, Dallas Thunder is heading back home. They will take on the Legion Preparatory Academy Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dallas Thunder will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 412th, while Legion Preparatory Academy is ranked 49th).
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Dallas Thunder, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 46-31 loss to Lake Country Christian.
Meanwhile, Legion Preparatory Academy can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 62-42 margin over Life Prep. The win was nothing new for Legion Preparatory Academy as they're now sitting on six straight.
Legion Preparatory Academy can attribute much of their success to Neenah George, who scored 16 points. George continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mari Dangerfield, who scored ten points.
Dallas Thunder's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Legion Preparatory Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
