Starr's Mill had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

While Starr's Mill won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 26-24.

Sammie Brady paced Starr's Mill's offense, picking up seven kills. Brady got some help from Katie Gutshall and her 12 assists. Sophia Olson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Starr's Mill's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-4-1.

Starr's Mill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Woodward Academy on the 23rd. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Creekside Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
