Franklin has gone a perfect 6-0 against Little River Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lions will welcome the Bumblebees at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Franklin is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Troy 68-27 on Friday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Little River Academy humbled Rockdale with a 55-21 victory. The game marked the Bumblebees' most dominant win of the season.

Little River Academy's win came from a few key players Franklin will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brian Grissom, who rushed for 220 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Hoffman, who picked up 82 receiving yards and three scores.

Little River Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 306 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 187 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Franklin now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Little River Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Franklin against Little River Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 51-15 win. In that contest, the Lions amassed a halftime lead of 28-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
