West Windsor-Plainsboro South can chalk up much of its success to the efforts of senior Max Bruno, who threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns.
Despite Hightstown's defeat, the squad still enjoyed a top-notch performance from senior Johnny Andre, who ran for 206 yards and also punched in four touchdowns.
The win got West Windsor-Plainsboro South up to 2-5. Hightstown's record fell to 2-5 after the loss.
The two teams have their sights set on raising those records in their upcoming games. West Windsor-Plainsboro South will look to defend its home turf against Pennsauken this Friday. As for Hightstown, it will square off against Notre Dame this Friday at 7:00 PM.
