The Schaumburg Christian Conquerors won against the Westminster Christian Warriors last Friday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Schaumburg Christian really took it to Westminster Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-17 win on the road. The win was nothing new for Schaumburg Christian as they're now sitting on six straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Schaumburg Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carynton Hobson, who scored 8 points along with 16 rebounds and 6 steals. Hobson is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Bella Bustamante, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds and 7 steals.
Schaumburg Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Westminster Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Schaumburg Christian will head out on the road to face off against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Monday. As for Westminster Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
