The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Gainesville has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Trinity Catholic will arrive with three straight wins.
While it was all tied up 12-12 at halftime, Gainesville was not quite Hawthorne's equal in the second half on Friday. Gainesville was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 33-32 to Hawthorne.

Trinity Catholic posted their biggest win yet this season on Monday. They claimed a resounding 62-27 win over The Villages Charter on the road. 62 seems to be a good number for Trinity Catholic as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Gainesville's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Trinity Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
Gainesville didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Trinity Catholic in their previous matchup on January 4th, but they still walked away with a 39-33 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gainesville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
