The Elizabeth Cardinals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 77-30 win over Mitchell. The victory was some much needed relief for Elizabeth as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
Joey Dome had an outrageously good game as he scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Diessen Lindsay, who scored 11 points.
Elizabeth's victory ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-16. As for Mitchell, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-19.
Elizabeth will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Sierra at 7:00 p.m. The timing isn't great for Elizabeth: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Sierra has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road. As for Mitchell, they will challenge Colorado Springs Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
