The McKinley Macks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They walked away with an 87-78 victory over East. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
East's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Antoine Williams, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Rhondell Johnson was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds.
McKinley's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5. As for East, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKinley will take on the Sparks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Presidents at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
