Tyler Shutts and Taylor Jackson provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Geneseo. The connection was good for 72 yards, the longest such play in Section 5 Livingston III this season.
York took down the Blue Devils 63-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Shutts threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 17 yards in the win.
Cameron Worthington was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 130 yards on 10 carries as Cuba-Rushford beat Geneseo. Rian Freeman also contributed to the rushing game with 89 yards on the ground.
Dishaw was the best wideout in the league this week as York beat Tim Dolgos' team. Dishaw tallied two receptions for 124 yards. Neil Craft helped York's passing attack out by catching two balls for 57 yards.
Eric Amorese's team's Shutts and Dishaw have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Section 5 Livingston III in both passing and receiving yards. Shutts has thrown for 1583 yards this season, while Dishaw, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has 13 catches for 543 yards. Freeman from the Rebels leads the league in rushing with 799 yards.
The Golden Knights led the league in scoring this week after putting up 63 points on the Blue Devils. Shutts in the win.
