Jefferson Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Allison Wormely out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Wormely has scored at least a third of Jefferson Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Jada Washington, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Altamont saw an underclassman step up: Madison Goldberg scored 12 points along with six steals. Goldberg is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Tanner Battle was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Jefferson Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Altamont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.
