The Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool Chargers extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Westlake Academy Blacksmiths. They blew past the Blacksmiths 76-50. 76 seems to be a good number for Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Leading Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool to victory were Elijah Sprinkle and Payton Burke. Sprinkle threw for 244 yards and six touchdowns, while Burke gained 394 total yards and four touchdowns. Cooper Manz also deserves a shout-out for his three touchdowns.
Westlake Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Grant Flowers and Nicolas Sansone . Flowers gained 135 total yards and three touchdowns, while Sansone threw for 240 yards and four touchdowns. Preston Colby did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 60 receiving yards.
The win was the sixth in a row for Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool, bringing their record for this year to 10-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Westlake Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool will face off against Gloria Deo Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gloria Deo Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Westlake Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
