Hope Academy enjoyed a cozy 73-55 victory over Montverde Academy Regional. Given Hope Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while Montverde Academy Regional is ranked 455th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hope Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dwayne Foreman III out in front who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten assists. The contest was Foreman III's 18th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ja'vion Jenkins, who scored 21 points.
Hope Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Montverde Academy Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
