St. Joseph will challenge Tri-County Academy on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Last Friday, St. Joseph put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Greenville Christian 62-20. Junior Trey Benson, who rushed for 392 yards and 7 touchdowns, was a major factor in St. Joseph's success.
Meanwhile, Tri-County Academy might be getting used to good results now that the team have six wins in a row. They blew past River Oaks 28-0. Tri-County Academy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped St. Joseph to 7-1 and Tri-County Academy to 6-2. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
