Air Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. Tess Heater and Alli Dreessen were the leaders of the group effort as each produced two apiece. Heater also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Air Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Coronado, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
