Fort LeBoeuf is 0-3 against Erie since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Fort LeBoeuf Bison will be playing at home against the Erie Royals at 7:15 p.m. Fort LeBoeuf will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 336th, while Erie is ranked 112th).
Fort LeBoeuf's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 63-38 walloping at the hands of General McLane. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fort LeBoeuf in their matchups with General McLane: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Erie earned a 53-44 win over Harbor Creek on Tuesday.
Fort LeBoeuf's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-8. As for Erie, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
Fort LeBoeuf took a serious blow against Erie in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 89-40. Can Fort LeBoeuf avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
