Softball Recap: Redan Wins Going Away Against Lithonia

After losing to Lithonia the last time they met, Redan decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Raiders put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 28-12 victory on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

SIMONE OWENS was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with nine stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. Those nine stolen bases gave her a new career-high. JALYN BEY was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with six stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Redan's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redan will challenge Cedar Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lithonia, they will square off against Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
