Kaydence Schutte spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits.
On the hitting side, Giselle Mccormick was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Hobby, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Lake Minneola has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Tavares, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
