After losing to the Charlotte Trojans the last time they met, the Pettus Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Pettus had just enough and edged Charlotte out 43-41.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pettus to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isa Martinez, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Miranda Monson, who scored 9 points.
Pettus has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for Charlotte, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Pettus will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Nixon-Smiley at 1:30 p.m. on November 30th. As for Charlotte, they will face off against Jourdanton at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. Jourdanton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Charlotte in Texas (Jourdanton is ranked 325th, while Charlotte is ranked 1142nd).
