Two dominant players in Jasmine Nivar and Deana Prasad are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Apex Friendship Patriots will be playing at home against the Green Level Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Apex Friendship is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
Last Friday, Apex Friendship came up short against Cary and fell 58-50.
Meanwhile, Green Level unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to Middle Creek 46-41.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Prasad, who scored 19 points along with five assists. Another player making a difference was Stella Eckhart, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Apex Friendship bumped their record down to 7-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Green Level, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5.
Everything came up roses for Apex Friendship against Green Level when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 54-23 victory. Does Apex Friendship have another victory up their sleeve, or will Green Level turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
