The Bear River Bears will face off against the Snow Canyon Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Bear River is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 11 games.
Bear River is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Provo, sneaking past 13-12. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bears, who until this game were averaging 3.96 runs allowed.

Bear River got a massive performance out of Broxton Gardner, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with five RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those five RBI gave Gardner a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Holden Potter, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Snow Canyon beat Uintah 7-2 on Friday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Utes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Trey Vaughn was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Vaughn was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Trent Chris looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one hit in six consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Dewy Gibb was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Snow Canyon hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matches.
Bear River's record is now 19-7. As for Snow Canyon, their record now sits at 20-6.
