Kimberly faced Oconomowoc in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Papermakers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raccoons. The Papermakers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Bri Hagglund paced Kimberly's offense, picking up three kills. Hagglund got some help from Emma Tesch and her seven assists.

Kimberly's defeat dropped their record down to 26-13. As for Oconomowoc, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 34-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Kimberly will challenge Neenah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oconomowoc, they will venture away from home to challenge Muskego at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
