Summit extended the longest winning streak in Sunkist this week by beating Grand Terrace, 61-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Fontana was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in the league. The Steelers defeated Bloomington 22-8 earlier in the week.
Summit's offense has been unstoppable this season and the SkyHawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jakob Jordan has thrown for 721 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Erik Brown has 19 catches for 271 yards. Justin Strong leads the league in rushing with 365 yards.
A big matchup in Sunkist this week will be when the Bruins take on Summit. Bloomington is in sixth place, while Cesar Villalobos' team is in first place.
The SkyHawks took down Grand Terrace 61-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Junior Davis ran for 55 yards in the win.
