Sioux Valley was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Flandreau on Saturday. The Cossacks were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Fliers. The Cossacks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by seven runs or more this season.

The victory snapped Sioux Valley's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-6 record. As for Flandreau, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

Sioux Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-4 win against McCook Central/Montrose on the 3rd. As for Flandreau, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-2 victory against Hanson on the 3rd.
