Having just played yesterday, Memphis Rise Academy will get right back to it and host the Crosstown Explorers at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 17 consecutive losses for Memphis Rise Academy and three for Crosstown.
Memphis Rise Academy played against Memphis Business Academy and lost via forfeit.
Crosstown suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Memphis Business Academy, falling 72-10. While losing is never fun, Crosstown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while Memphis Business Academy is ranked 115th).
Memphis Rise Academy's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Crosstown, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
