 In other batting news,  Kyleigh Moore was  incredible,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Madison Johnette, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 St. Albert's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Lewis Central, their win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 8-10.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: St. Albert beat Lewis Central by a score of  4-3 later that day.
