On Friday, Horicon/Hustisford put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took the match and then some with a 40-2 win over Markesan. Horicon/Hustisford were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Horicon/Hustisford's record up to 5-1. The defeat dropped Markesan's record to 4-3.
Next week Horicon/Hustisford take on Parkview at 7:00 PM. Horicon/Hustisford are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Parkview are stumbling in off of five consecutive losses. Markesan will look to defend their home turf against Palmyra-Eagle at 7:00 PM.
