The Quince Orchard Cougars's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They walked away with a 34-23 victory over Blair. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Quince Orchard also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Leading Quince Orchard to victory were Kelly Adams and Evelyn Steele. Adams scored seven points along with eight rebounds and eight steals, while Steele scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and four blocks. Adams hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games.
Quince Orchard's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Blair, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Quince Orchard will head out on the road to face off against Clarksburg at 7:15 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Clarksburg has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 246 points over their last four contests. Blair will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wootton at 7:15 p.m. on January 16, 2024.
