This season hasn't been kind to the Albemarle School Colts, who are still winless after their 23rd match. They fell 37-29 to Northeast Academy on Monday. Albemarle School has struggled against the Eagles recently, as their match on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Albemarle School still got an impressive performance from Luke Soule, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. It was the first time this season that Soule scored 15 or more points. Chase Wentz was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Northeast Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaden Medford led the charge by scoring 11 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Jake Parks, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Albemarle School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-23. As for Northeast Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-15.
