Basketball Recap: Carter Extends Winning Streak to Four

Carter waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 71-51 margin over the King's Academy Lions. The Green Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Carter is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for King's Academy, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Carter will take on Knoxville Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Carter knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matchups -- so hopefully Knoxville Central likes a good challenge. As for King's Academy, they and Jellico will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
