Link Academy continued its strong start to the season by capturing the City of Palms Classic Signature Series title, while Prolific Prep went undefeated on their trip to the Tarkanian Classic over the weekend.
The only newcomer in this week's rankings is No. 10 Bella Vista Prep, which jumps into the rankings after No. 10
DME Academy (Daytona Beach, Fla.) dropped out of the rankings after suffering a blowout loss.
The National Top 10 culminates with the national championship tournament for independent schools at the end of the season — GEICO Nationals.
The National Top 10 rankings will not be updated until after the New Year, make sure to check back in 2023 for our updated list.

The second-year program takes over the top after capturing the City of Palms Classic Signature Series championship. The Lions defeated St. Frances Academy (Baltimore) 68-64 before blowing past The Rock (Gainesville, Fla.) 80-54 in the title game.

Owning wins over No. 5 Montverde Academy, No. 6 Sunrise Christian Academy and splitting a pair of meetings with No. 7 Wasatch Academy, the Dragons have one of the top resumes in high school basketball with a strong opportunity to reclaim their top spot if they can continue to string together big wins in NIBC play.

The three-time defending national champions suffered a shocking loss to Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore) 56-55 in the semifinals of the 'Iolani Classic. The Eagles have plenty of opportunities to overcome this loss with one of the toughest schedules in high school basketball.

Secured a pair of quality wins at the Hoopfest in Paradise, taking down Oak Ridge (Orlando, Fla.) 58-53 and MaxPreps Top 25 No. 15 Roselle Catholic (Roselle, N.J.) 73-62. The Buffaloes have a pair of anticipated NIBC showdowns after the new year, taking on No. 5 Montverde Academy on Jan. 5 and No. 2 IMG Academy on Jan. 7.

Sit in the middle of the pack in the NIBC with a 2-2 record in conference play. The Lakers continue to inch up the rankings after falling out of the National Top 10 early in the season.

A quality win over No. 10 St. Benedict's Prep 73-66 was marred by another bad loss to South Shore (Brooklyn, N.Y.) 66-63. The Tigers have a pair of tough matchups coming up, facing No. 7 La Lumiere on Jan. 6 and No. 5 Montverde Academy on Jan. 7.

The Gray Bees remain in the rankings despite losing to No. 8 Wasatch Academy 73-66 over the weekend. St. Benedict's Prep looks to get back on the winning track following the holiday against National Christian Academy (Fort Washington, Md.) on Dec. 29 and Dream City Christian (Glendale, Ariz.) on Dec. 30.
