They were outmatched by Easton Area on the road and fell 61-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Louis E. Dieruff has scored all season.
Leading Easton Area to victory were Ryan Cornish and Jeremy Henry. Cornish scored 13 points, while Henry scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Henry has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyshaun Dunlap, who scored six points.
Louis E. Dieruff's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Easton Area, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Louis E. Dieruff will take on Pocono Mountain East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Easton Area, they will head out on the road to challenge East Stroudsburg North at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Stroudsburg North presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Easton Area in Pennsylvania (East Stroudsburg North is ranked 164th, while Easton Area is ranked 369th).
