Softball Recap: Sandalwood Wins Going Away Against Riverside

While Sandalwood put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Riverside. The Saints blew past the Generals 18-0. The victory continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Generals: they've now won five in a row.

Sandalwood got a massive performance out of Annie Bascon, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Heath, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Sandalwood's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Riverside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Sandalwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Wolfson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Riverside, they will head out on the road to square off against First Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
