On Friday, Xavier put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Maquoketa as the team secured a 41-0 victory. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (35) and coasted on those for the win.
The victory bumped Xavier's record up to 5-0. Maquoketa are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Xavier take on Wahlert at 7:00 PM. Xavier are cruising in on a five-game winning streak while Wahlert are stumbling in off of four consecutive losses. As for Maquoketa, they will face off against Marion. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for Maquoketa and three for Marion.
