Dryden has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Peck Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Peck took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Dryden, who comes in off a win.
Dryden put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 49-25 margin over Mayville. Given Dryden's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 275th, while Mayville is ranked 588th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Peck suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. Their tough 39-19 loss to North Huron might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Peck has scored all season.
Dryden has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Peck, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.
Everything came up roses for Dryden against Peck in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 48-17 victory. Does Dryden have another victory up their sleeve, or will Peck turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
