They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 69-13 victory over King Abdullah Academy. With Hedgesville ahead 43-5 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Hedgesville was led to victory by Maggie Boyer and Gracie Brown. Boyer scored 19 points along with four steals, while Brown dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Brown's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Natalie Yates, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Hedgesville's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for King Abdullah Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Hedgesville will head out on the road to face off against Berkeley Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. King Abdullah Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Evergreen Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
