Tree of Life Christian's rough 53-30 defeat to Northside Christian might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tree of Life Christian has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Tree of Life Christian saw an underclassman step up: Jesse Kanu scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Brown, who scored five points.
Tree of Life Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Northside Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
Tree of Life Christian will look to defend their home court on Friday against Madison Christian at 8:00 p.m. Hopefully Tree of Life Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday. As for Northside Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
