The Butler Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They snuck past Parsippany with a 57-52 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Butler.
Despite the defeat, Parsippany saw an underclassman step up: Thomas Niedermaier scored 19 points along with six steals. Niedermaier scored a full 36.5% of Parsippany's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arthur Smith, who scored 16 points.
The win got Butler back to even at 3-3. As for Parsippany, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Butler will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Hawthorne Christian at 7:00 p.m. Parsippany won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Midland Park at 11:30 a.m. on December 28th.
