Fans got a thrill when Tommy Kelley and Jacob Breeland connected against Huntington Beach. The longest such play in South Coast this season, the connection resulted in 79 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Trabuco Hills beat the Oilers 27-17,. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
El Toro's dynamic duo of Trey Tinsley and Dominic Collins proved tough for Palos Verdes to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Tinsley threw for 362 yards and 4 touchdowns and Collins had 163 yards receiving. Taylor Dodds helped El Toro's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 79 yards.
The Chargers' dynamic duo of Tinsley and Collins proved to be unstoppable against the Sea Kings, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Tinsley put up the best numbers through the air as El Toro lost to Palos Verdes.
Collins was the best receiver in the league this week as Robert Frith's team fell to Guy Gardner's team.
He went 39-56 with 2 interceptions.
Vlad Dzhabiyev was the most successful running back in South Coast this week. In 19 carries, he ran for 83 yards as San Clemente fell to the Sea Kings. Teammate Sebastian Delgadillo added to the ground attack by rushing for 32 yards.
El Toro's Tinsley and Collins have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Tinsley has thrown for 1,213 yards this season, while Collins, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 42 catches for 515 yards. The Tritons' Sam Darnold leads the league in rushing yards with 322.
Mission Viejo took down La Habra 46-21 last week, the largest margin of any game.
