Basketball Recap: Sturgis Drops Highest Score of Season Against Otsego

Sturgis scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the Otsego Bulldogs 67-62. The Trojans lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 73-46 score last time.

This is the second loss in a row for Sturgis and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Otsego, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sturgis will venture away from home to face off against Niles at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Niles has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Otsego, they are taking a road trip to square off against Edwardsburg at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
