Middle Creek gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Fuquay - Varina Bengals 37-7. The  match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Mustangs had established  a  20-point advantage.
 Jayden Spencer was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 89 yards and one  score on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
