The Cromwell Cardinals had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took down South Ridge 67-53. That's another feather in the cap for Cromwell, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Brady Dahl, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Lane Gervais, who scored 14 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Cromwell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for South Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.
Cromwell will head out on the road to square off against Cherry at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Cherry's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 18 contests. As for South Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carlton/Wrenshall at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
