Last week wasn't at all kind to Winthrop/Monmouth Academy, but their most recent game may have softened the blow. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Oak Hill 14-12. Oak Hill can consider this payback for the 26-28 loss they dealt Winthrop/Monmouth Academy the last time the teams encountered one another. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 1-1.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Winthrop/Monmouth Academy take on Wells at Homecoming Game at 7:00 PM. Oak Hill will be staying on the road, facing off against Mountain Valley.
