The Hamilton Aggies stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 63-32 victory over Cordova at home. The victory was familiar territory for Hamilton who now have three in a row.
Aubrey Sorrells was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. She hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for nine straight games. Jordan Parker was another key contributor, scoring 22 points.
Despite the loss, Cordova still got an impressive performance from Ella Grace Madison, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Hamilton is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Cordova, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 13-5.
Hamilton will head out on the road to take on Haleyville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Haleyville is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Cordova will take on Curry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Curry will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while Cordova is ranked 155th).
